LANCEKIT

Terms of Service

Last Updated: July 2026

1. Terms

By accessing the website at https://lancekit.app, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily use the services provided on LanceKit for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing or structured freelance management only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title.

3. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the service and for any activities or actions under your password. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

4. User Content

You retain all rights to the data, clients, and projects you input into LanceKit. By using the service, you grant us the right to store and process this data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall LanceKit, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

7. Lifetime Membership & Fair Use

The term 'Lifetime' refers to the commercial lifespan of the LanceKit web application, not the physical lifetime of the buyer. As long as LanceKit is actively developed and commercially viable, your access will remain active. To ensure platform stability for all users, Lifetime accounts are subject to fair use limits. This includes maximum 5GB data storage for future L/Vault module, or excessive API calls. Usage beyond these standard limits may or may not require a separate infrastructure upgrade fee. LanceKit reserves the right to archive or permanently delete Lifetime accounts that have remained completely inactive (no logins or system usage) for more than 12 consecutive months, after a 30-day warning email is sent.

8. In case of Acquisition/Transfer

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or transition of LanceKit to a new legal entity, all accounts, rights and your Lifetime status will be honored under the terms set by the acquiring entity, or settled at the sole discretion of LanceKit management.
